Couple Celebrates 35th

Samuel and Diane Twardoski of St. Clairsville celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary Tuesday, Aug. 13.

They were united in marriage Aug. 13, 1978 at the Oglebay Gardens, Wheeling, with the late Rev. Paul Elbin officiating the ceremony.

Diane Twardoski is the daughter of the late Mary Jane McCutcheon. She holds degrees in English, speech and French from West Liberty State College and a Master of Administration degree from the University of Dayton. She is employed at Martins Ferry High School as a French teacher.

Twardoski is the son of Carmella Twardoski of Martins Ferry and the late Frank “Pedro” Twardoski. He is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in special education. He is employed at Union Local High School as a special education teacher.

They are the parents of two children. The family includes Gina Reitter and her husband, B.J., of Weirton and A.J. Twardoski of Columbus. They have three grandchildren.

They celebrated their anniversary with family in Ocean City, Md., where the two have been vacationing for more than 30 years.
