Cooks Celebrate 50th
Denny and Beverly Cook of Triadelphia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, May 23.
They were united in marriage May 23, 1964 at Elm Grove Christian Church, Wheeling, by the late Rev. Thomas Ullom.
Beverly Cook is the daughter of the late Bessie Lawson Wood and the late Wayne Wood. She is retired from Elmhurst, The House of Friendship Inc., after 31 years.
Denny Cook is the son of the late Jesse and Grace Cook. He is retired from Cook Remodeling. He is the owner of D&B Rentals. He served in the Navy on the USS Hancock.
They are the parents of four children. The family includes Denise Dahl and her husband, Jim, of Lawrence, Pa.; Cynthia Kopyar and her husband, Jerry, of Triadelphia; Melinda Cook of Triadelphia and Dennis Cook Jr. and his wife, Tammy, of Dallas Pike. They have eight grandchildren.
A family dinner, given by their children, was held at Undo’s in Wheeling Saturday, May 24.
