Browns Mark 70 Years

Hunter Biddle and Betty Ann Brown of St. Clairsville are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary today, July 3.

They were united in marriage July 3, 1946, at the First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville.

Betty Ann Brown is the daughter of the late Howard and Bertha Fritter Howell of Flushing. She was employed by Ohio Bell Telephone Co. and is a homemaker.

Biddle Brown is the son of the late Hunter and Catherine Biddle Brown of St. Clairsville. He is retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Co. and Oglebay Park.

They have four children. The family includes Joyce Zambito and her husband, Michael, of Wheeling; Patricia Ranttila and her husband, Jack, of Hoffman Estates, Ill.; Roger and his wife, Vickie, of Middleboro, Mass.; and Amy Hiner and her husband, Matthew, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. They have nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
