Turners Celebrate 65th

Garth and Madelyn Turner of Long Vue Acres, Wheeling, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Tuesday.

They were united in marriage by the Rev. V.W. Powell on March 7, 1952, in Triadelphia at the home of the bride’s parents.

Garth Turner is the son of the late Leah and Earl Turner of Wheeling. He is retired from Weirton Steel.

Madelyn Turner is the daughter of the late Anna and James Jackson of Triadelphia.

They are the parents of two children: Cheryl Sayre of Triadelphia and Jeff (Donna) Turner of St. Clairsville.

They have three grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

They celebrated with a family dinner at the home in Triadelphia where they were married.
