Vermillions Mark Golden

Chuck and Patty Vermillion of Mount Olivet, Wheeling, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.

They were united in marriage on Nov. 25, 1967, at the Alexandria (Va.) United Methodist Church with the late Rev. Andrew Good officiating.

Patty Vermillion is the daughter of the late Ossie and Margie Ciocca, formerly of Wheeling. She is a 1965 graduate of Triadelphia High School and is retired from Wheeling Hospital and First Choice America Federal Credit Union.

Chuck Vermillion is the son of the late Edwin and Stella May Vermillion of Wheeling. He is a 1963 graduate of Wheeling High School and a graduate of West Liberty State College. He retired from Marshall County Schools after teaching 35 years at Sherrard Junior High School and substitute teaching for an additional 12 years with the county.

The family includes a son, Kirk Michael, and his wife, Lynette, of Blacklick, Ohio; and a daughter, Kristi Lynn Briggs, and her husband, Michael, of Martins Ferry. Three granddaughters complete the family.

They will celebrate with family and friends on Saturday.
