Coffields Mark Golden
Howard and Karen Coffield of Limestone will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday.
They were united in marriage Aug. 2, 1968 with the late Rev. William Stein officiating the double-ring ceremony.
Karen Coffield is the daughter of the late Ivan and Alma Jean McCombs of Sherrard. She is a 1965 graduate of Sherrard High School and is a retired children and family therapist.
Howard Coffield is the son of the late Doris and Clarence Coffield of Limestone. He is a 1965 graduate of Moundsville High School and served in the Army from 1966-68. He works for the Marshall County Commission as superintendent of buildings and grounds.
They are the parents of Neil (Kathy Runyan) Coffield of New Bern, North Carolina; Erin (Trevor) Howard and Julianna (Tim) Callahan, all of Limestone. They have 11 grandchildren.
The couple invites family and friends to celebrate with them at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Limestone Community Building. They request no gifts.
