Crofts Celebrate 50th
Harry and Florence Croft celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Oct. 26.
They were married on Oct. 26, 1968 at the Elm Grove Nazarene Church by the Rev. Alfred Kay.
Harry Croft retired as a detective from the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department. He currently serves as pastor of the Marwin Church of the Nazarene, and is a member of the Ohio Valley Cold Case Task Force.
Florence Croft serves as Sunday School superintendent and missionary president at the church.
They have three children: Nelson and wife Rachel, Debbie and husband Chad, and Matthew and wife Sadie, four grandchildren, Savannah, Lillian, Abby and Elijah complete the family.
The couple celebrated with a cross country missionary trip to the Arapoho Indian Reservation in the Riverton and Wind River areas of Wyoming. There they helped build an addition on the Wind River Church of the Nazarene, did painting and maintenance to the Riverton Church of the Nazarene and surrounding area. During their trip, they visited 22 different states and two Canadian providences.
The couple recently were honored with a surprise anniversary celebration given by their family.
