Kenneth Davis and Tina Bart of Shinnston announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Marie Davis of Morgantown, to Richard Patrick Mullin, also of Morgantown. He is the son of Richard and Marian Mullin of Wheeling.
Davis is a 2008 honors graduate of Fairmont State University, majoring in psychology, and a 2011 graduate of Waynesburg University with a Master of Arts degree in counseling, specializing in addictions counseling. She is cemployed by PSIMED Corrections Inc. as a clinical therapist at Dr. Harriet B. Jones Treatment Center in Salem, W.Va.
Mullin is a 2002 graduate of West Virginia University, majoring in industrial engineering, and a 2007 graduate of Marshall University’s Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. He is in his fifth year of residency in the WVU School of Medicine Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry. He also has completed a child psychiatry fellowship while at WVU.
A June 2 wedding is planned at First United Methodist Church, Shinnston.
