Harman to Celebrate100
Wilda Laurene Harman of Pitman, N.J., formerly of Wheeling, will celebrate her 100th birthday Wednesday, March 11.
She was born in Greene County, Pa., on March 11, 1915 to Guy and Clio Fletcher and was reared in Wheeling. She graduated from Wheeling High School, Class of 1933, and graduated from Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing in 1936.
She was married to the late Kenneth Arthur Harman. They had two children, Judith and James.
Harman has eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.
Currently, she resides with her daughter, Judy, and son-in-law, Willard, in Pitman, N.J. She is an avid reader who enjoys spending every day with her friends and family.
Harman will celebrate her birthday with family and friends with an open house at Pitman United Methodist Church from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, March 14.
