MORRISTOWN — Whether it’s listening to live entertainment or booking it for a private party — the outdoor bar and patio area at Chapz Bar & Grill, located along National Road just west of the Jamboree in the Hills site near Morristown, continues to be a big draw.
Chapz employee Kristin Wood said the patio is very popular this time of year as they feature a variety of live entertainment on their roof covered patio, which includes an outdoor picnic table area.
She said the patio will stay open through October, weather permitting.
“We have bands every Thursday evening, and Thursday is usually our bike night, so it is usually a pretty busy night,” Wood said.
“It’s a fun inviting atmosphere,” she added.
A band is featured from 6 to 9:30 p.m., every Thursday on the patio through mid-September, weather permitting — and a DJ plays music Wednesday evenings till 11 p.m, according to Wood. She said they occasionally feature entertainment on the weekends as well and many the locals like to play corn toss in the picnic area.
Wood said the patio can be reserved for private parties and Chapz offers catering with several menu selections.
“We will give you an option, you can have chicken or ribs, or the “hogwich” pulled pork sandwich,” Wood said, while commenting on their catering.
Chapz Restaurant offers a variety of regular menu selections such as: fresh seared tuna melt, three bean chili and grilled wings you’ll want to come back for in a biker friendly atmosphere — but it’s menu items like the their popular Burn-Out Burger, wings or ribs that keep customers returning for more.
The Burn-Out Burger can be ordered with cheddar cheese or as a “Pizza” Burn-Out with mozzerella cheese along with any side dish. Beginning in mid-September they will begin offering soup specials.
