Parcel Players to Open Season With ‘Tomorrow’s Wish’

Oglebay Institute’s Parcel Players open their summer theater season with Wade Bradford’s “Tomorrow’s Wish,” which will be staged at 7 p.m. July 9-12 at OI’s Towngate Theatre, 2118 Market St., Wheeling.

Directed by P.D. Gregg, “Tomorrow’s Wish” is a three-act comedy-drama with a bit of fantasy thrown into the mix. During the most boring summer of her life, 16-year-old Megan Pomerville must now deal with her strange, friendly, yet embarrassing, cousin Juniper, a home-schooled teen who’s been living a sheltered and secluded country life. Megan’s cynical attitude soon changes when she discovers Juniper’s secret – a secret so remarkable it will change their lives forever.

The cast of “Tomorrow’s Wish” includes: Joel Nau, Maggie Aulick, Abbey Delk, Samantha Klemm, Hannah Hlad, Willie McCleery, Aimee Schultz, Bradley Orzolek, Kevin Stryker, Juan Dunlap, Lindsey Wayne, Jamilyn Helms, Tamara Smathers and Sara Ihlenfeld.

Oglebay Institute’s Parcel Players program offers young people from age 12 through college a chance to act, direct, design sets, work with costumes, lighting and more.

Tickets are available at the door, at or by calling the Stifel Fine Arts Center at 304-242-7700.
