Young Entertainers In the Spotlight

On Thursday, local youth will take the stage at Wheeling Park for Celebrate Youth 2014 Community Matters. This free event organized by Youth Services System will showcase young people from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Ohio Valley High Steppers Baton Twirling Team will be performing in their purple costumes to promote awareness of epilepsy.

The Society of the Arts will exhibit their prowess in martial arts.

Stevie Lynn, a 14-year-old performer, has been making her mark throughout the Ohio Valley.

Spoken IV is a Christian rock band that was a favorite at past Celebrate Youth festivals and they will return again this year. Aaron Jeffries, Vinnie Nobile, Tanner and Garrick Sturm II make up the band.

Jessi Crawford is a Wheeling Park High School senior whose music is influenced by rock and modern music

Y-N-C is Joshua Heatherington and John Nice, a young hip hop duo getting regional and national attention with their positive music.

Keith Fogle is a local hip hop performer who is returning to Celebrate Youth. He won a Celebrate Youth talent contest as a young high schooler.

Flight Gang will bring its music to the Celebrate Youth Stage.

DJ Noctrex will bring his mixes to the audience between performers and as an addition to live performances.
