Mount Olivet Church to Present Murder Mystery

The Mount Olivet United Methodist Church will present “Treble in the Church Choir” a murder mystery dinner theater performance at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, in the church’s Fellowship Hall.

This play, written and directed by Wheeling native and award-winning playwright Jeremy Richter, is sure to be entertaining and bring lots of laughs.

“Treble in the Church Choir” is chaotic and action packed as five colorful characters that make up the church’s appointed committee is in charge of starting a church choir for the very first time. Each character has a different agenda and a strong animosity toward one of their fellow committee members. The result is the death of a member and the mystery of who could have done such a dastardly deed. Mayhem and accusations prevail in the attempt to find the guilty party. You will be asking yourself, “Can someone actually die from peppermint?”
