Jenna Cox and John Gessler were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Mount Olivet, with the Rev. Frank O’Kruta officiating.

Parents of the bride are Donald and Rebecca Cox of Wheeling.

Parents of the groom are David and Brenda Gessler of Wheeling and William and Debora Mylan of Wheeling.

Resa Arno was matron of honor. Jessica Cox, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Jerome Harris and Eric Murphy served as best men.

Other attendants were Rhonda Gessler, sister of the groom; Domenique George; Shannon Gessler; Andrea Holmes; Adria Dilorenzo; Sheila Cox; Dena Beazel; Natell Mustachio; Josh Cox, brother of the bride; Tim Gessler; Jason Boyd; Dan Rolling; Tony Arno; Wayne Stein; Dave Miller and Tony Bonitatibus.

A reception was held at the McLure House Hotel, Wheeling.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of John Marshall High School. She attended West Liberty State College. She is employed at Camelot Restaurant.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Wheeling Park High School. He attended Coastal Carolina University and served in Iraq. He is employed with Consol Energy.

After a wedding cruise to the western Caribbean Sea, the couple will reside in Wheeling.
