Brittany Jane Taylor and Jordan Thomas Steele were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church with the Rev. Greg Markins officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Walt and Candi Taylor of Benwood.
The groom is the son of Terry and Soozie Steele of Glen Dale.
Amber Taylor was maid of honor. Tyler Steele served as best man.
Other attendants were Caity Battista, Stephanie Adams, Kelsey Steele, Tiffany Henderson, Abby Taylor, Kristin Ging, Matt Harris, Josh May, Chad Debeni, Eric Beuhning, Bart Taylor and Nick Simmons.
A reception was held at the Chesapeake Energy building, Marshall County fairgrounds, Moundsville.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2008 graduate of Penn Commercial Business and Technical School with a cosmetologist license. She is employed as a master hair designer at JCPenney Salon at The Highlands, Triadelphia.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of John Marshall High School and a graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in history. He is employed as a sales manager at Best Buy at the Waterfront in Pittsburgh.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple will reside in Wheeling.
