Lindsey Nicole Helfer and Dennis Jerry McGlaughlin II were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at St, Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville, with Msgr. Eugene Ostrowski officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Jane Helfer of Glen Dale.
The groom is the son of Denny and Sue McGlaughlin of Wheeling.
Attendants were Laura Chapman; Yvette Michaud; Sashi Murthy; Grace Leach; Tom Curran; Kevin Gessler; John Mark Helfer, brother of the bride; and Patrick Bridges.
A reception was held at River City Ale Works, Wheeling.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy, a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising and communications and a 2011 graduate of West Virginia University with a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications. She is an employee of the corporate marketing department of Williams Lea in Wheeling.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Wheeling Park High School, a 2007 magna cum laude graduate of Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communication and rhetoric and a 2010 graduate of St. Louis University School of Law. He is an attorney at Spilman Thomas & Battle in Wheeling.
After a wedding trip to Paris, France, the couple will reside in Bethlehem.
