Jacquelyn Danielle Austin and Corey Joseph Pickett were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, Bristol, Maine, with the Rev. Deane Perkins officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Frederick and Linda Austin of Newport, Maine.
The groom is the son of Gary and Valerie Pickett of Wheeling.
Salli Miller was maid of honor. Adam Pickett, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Other attendants were Mark Jafrate, Emily Worm and Chloe Pickett.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents in Newport. A second reception was held at Moundsville Country Club on Oct. 20.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Windsor (Conn.) High School and a graduate of the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology in 2001 and a master’s degree in counselor education in 2008. She is employed as a clinical counselor at Kennebec Behavioral Health in Skowhegean, Maine.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2004 graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism. He is employed as a communications specialist in Waterville, Maine.
After a wedding trip to Vermont, the couple resides in Fairfield, Maine.
