Schafer, Lovesky

Melissa Lovesky and Kenneth Schafer were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, in the Formal Gardens of Oglebay Park. The Rev. Robert Meklemberg officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Pam Lovesky of Wheeling.

The groom is the son of Ken and Pat Schafer of Solon, Ohio.

Michelle Perry was matron of honor. Matt Kijowski and Alec Delphenich served as best men.

Other attendants were Suzanne Gaiser; Kristi Schafer, sister of the groom; Jessica Halley; Jeff Battershell and Josh Arter.

A reception was held at Glessner Ballroom,Wilson Lodge, Oglebay.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Linsly School, a 2004 graduate of the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and a 2006 graduate of The Ohio State University with a master’s degree in applied statistics. She is employed as a statistician at the Sports Authority in Denver, Colo.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Solon High School, a 2007 graduate of Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a 2012 graduate of Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management with a Master of Business Administration degree. He works in Denver as a project engineer for American Energy Assets.

After a wedding trip to Ireland, the couple resides in Denver.
