Amy Skeens and Kevin Gessler Jr. were united in marriage at noon Sunday, Dec. 2, at Walt Disney World Wedding Pavilion, Orlando, Fla., with Christopher Isabella officiating the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Joe and Eva Skeens of Cowen.
Parents of the groom are Mari and Kevin Gessler Sr. of Wheeling.
Christine Pellino was maid of honor. Matthew McLeskey served as best man.
Other attendants were Adrienne Duckworth; Samantha Bonacci; Kari Gessler, sister of the groom; Meredith Bonacci; Sean O’Leary; Matthew Tyson; Joey Skeens, brother of the bride, and Travis Hapney.
A reception was held in Wheeling Saturday, May 4.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Webster County High School, a 2008 cum laude graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism and a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University with a Master of Arts degree in higher education administration. She is employed as a residence life specialist with West Virginia University in Morgantown.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Wheeling Park High School, a 2008 magna cum laude graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University with a Master of Professional Accountancy degree and graduate certificate in forensic accounting and fraud investigation. He is employed as a senior associate with Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP in Morgantown.
