Leigh Nuzum and Jamie Smalligan were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at Madison Avenue Christian Church, Covington, Ky., with the Rev. Chinna Simon officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Deborah Davis and Brad Nuzum of Wheeling.
The groom is the son of Jim and Kristie Smalligan of West Olive, Mich.
Cara Adams was matron of honor. Ryan Smalligan served as best man.
Other attendants were Katie Collins, Emily Everett, Sarah Smalligan, Meghan Smalligan, Joe Alexander, T.J. Simyak, Ryan Keiser, John Vellenoweth, Ellie Smalligan, Maddie Smalligan and Sophie Smalligan.
A reception was held at Madison Event Center, Covington.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Linsly School and a 2009 magna cum laude graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of East Grand Rapids High School and a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University’s School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and management. He is employed as a sales team leader at Total Quality Logistics.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Union, Ky.
