Elizabeth June Elias and James Justin Birch were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Chapel of Mary and Joseph, Wheeling Jesuit University, with the Rev. Mike Steltenkamp officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Jennifer Elias of Wheeling.
The groom is the son of James and Theresa Birch of Wheeling.
Stephanie Elias was maid of honor. Sean Carney served as best man.
Other attendants were Jennifer Elias, sister of the bride; Andrea McGinley; Jennifer Barger; Sarah Goodwin; Deanna Phillips; Sarah Coleman; Bobby Birch, Andy Birch and Shawn Birch, brothers of the groom; Trevor Knoblich; Jason Chambers; James Sayre; Alisa Dufort; Joshua Elias and Zachariah Elias.
A reception was held at the McLure Hotel in Wheeling.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School and a 2008 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy. She is employed as a certified public accountant for Felton CPA.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2007 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design. He is employed at WesBanco Bank in the electronic banking department.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Wheeling.
