David Patrick DeFranco and Kristy Ann McColloch were united in marriage on Saturday, April 18, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Wheeling, with the Rev. Msgr. Kevin M. Quirk, J.C.D., officiating the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Bruce McColloch of Wheeling and Sue Thorn of Wheeling.
Parents of the groom are Joseph and Melody DeFranco of Wheeling.
Melanie Merchant, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Joseph DeFranco, father of the groom, was best man.
Other attendants were Kelly Dlesk, Melissa Hamm, Keaira Merchant, Mike Pierce, Tom Clark and Haley Misenhelder.
A reception was held at the Wheeling Park White Palace.
The bride is a graduate Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy and earned an associate degree in culinary arts from West Virginia Northern Community College.
The groom is a graduate of Martins Ferry High School and is employed as a coal miner with Murray Energy.
After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Wheeling.
