Sarah Sofka and Patrick Rinehart were united in marriage Saturday, Aug. 8, at St. John University Parish in Morgantown, with the Rev. Andrew Switzer officiating the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sofka of Wheeling.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terrance Rinehart of Morgantown.
Kelly Kowalski, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. John Bossio served as best man.
Other attendants were Giuliana Voellinger and Mason Bossio.
A reception was held at the Erickson Alumni Center in Morgantown.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School and a 2004 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan. She attended West Virginia University School of Medicine where she earned a doctorate in medicine. She is an attending internal medicine physician at Ruby Memorial Hospital and associate program director of the internal medicine residency program at WVU.
The groom is 2001 graduate of Morgantown High School and a 2005 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. He is employed as interactive program coordinator at West Virginia Radio Corp.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Morgantown.
