Porter, Norman Wed

Tennieal Dakota Norman and Brandon Edward Porter were united in marriage on June 2 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Msgr. Paul Hudock officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Chris and Michelle Norman of Wheeling.

The groom is the son of Mark and Barbara Porter of Wheeling.

Michelle Norman, mother of the bride, served as the matron of honor. Cody Young was best man.

Other attendants were Tiffany Beaver; Savannah Austen; June Braunlich; Meghan Porter, sister of the groom; Jyllian Norman, sister of the bride; Brooke Porter, sister of the groom; Nicole Hammerquist; Trevor Stewart; Jonah Estep; Jerry Lucas and Chris Hammerquist. Additional participants included Abigail Reeves, Jyllian Norman, Grace Braunlich, Susan Norman and Michael Hamilton.

A cocktail hour and reception were held at Camp Russel in Oglebay Park.

The bride is a 2015 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2017 graduate of West Liberty University earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She will be attending cosmetology school in the fall.

The groom is a 2013 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2017 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University earning a bachelor’s degree in environment and sustainability. He is attending West Virginia University School of Law, on track to graduate in 2020.

After a surprise wedding trip planned by the bride’s parents, the couple will reside in Morgantown.
