Treasurer’s Office to Host Computer Training
West Virginia Treasurer John D. Perdue and a staff member will visit the Northern Panhandle on Wednesday through Friday, providing computer instruction in Excel 2010 Foundations.
The training is free and is worth 6.5 continuing professional education credits. Brian Bailey, head of employee development at the Treasurer’s Office, will lead classes on Excel 2010. Subjects to be covered include the use of auto fill, auto sum and auto complete features.
Perdue will kick off all classes with 8:30 a.m. remarks. Classes run until 4 p.m., with an hour break for lunch.
Dates and locations for the classes are:
- Wednesday – John D. Rockefeller IV Career Center, New Cumberland, Hancock County;
- Thursday – Wheeling Park High School, Ohio County; and
- Friday – John Marshall High School, Moundsville, Marshall County.
