Alleged Tyler County Meth Lab Uncovered
Tyler County Sheriff’s deputies on Friday arrested Shirl N. Baker III and Dustin K. Fulks in connection with an alleged meth lab.
Prosecuting Attorney D. Luke Furbee said police arrested Baker, 28, and Fulks, 24, after deputies and West Virginia State Police troopers executed a search warrant at 103 Temple Circle, Sistersville. They are charged with the felony offense of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory.
“Baker is being held at the North Central Regional Jail and Fulks is being held at the Northern Regional Jail, both in lieu of $50,000 bond,” Furbee said.
He said preliminary hearings for both defendants are set 2:30 p.m. March 10 in Tyler County Magistrate Court.
“A criminal charge is a mere accusation and persons are presumed by the law to be innocent until determined to be guilty in a court of law” Furbee said, adding that because the case is still under investigation he could not comment further.
