Cameron Rotary Club Is Sporting a New Banner

Cameron Rotary has a new trading banner, thanks to Tianna Knowlton, a senior at Cameron High School. The newest Rotary club of the area wanted to have a very special banner, so Rotarian Vicki Jenree, art teacher at Cameron High School, held a contest for her students. She asked them to submit designs for the banner.

Entries were voted on by the Rotary Club and Knowlton came out on top. The club presented Knowlton with a $100 check and a banner of her own. Trading banners are exchanged among Rotary clubs. Visiting Rotarians bring the banner from their home club when visiting other Rotary clubs and take the new club’s banner home to display.

Cameron Rotary meets Tuesdays at 4 p.m. in the library of the new Cameron High School and is always open to new members, visitors and speakers. Contact Megan Barlow with further questions at
