Bittner Arrested for Drug Possession, Intent to Deliver

In connection to the recent arrest of Jonathan Postlewait, who allegedly had a knife and drugs near children’s toys in his McMechen home, Wheeling resident Adam Bittner was arrested Thursday for allegedly being caught with drugs reportedly sold by Postlewait.

Bittner, 30, of 4514 Water St., was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance after law enforcement allegedly discovered oxycodone, cocaine and marijuana in his possession during a traffic stop. Bond was set at $10,000.

According to the criminal complaint, Bittner was stopped by an officer April 9 while traveling on W.Va. 2 in a silver Dodge Avenger after leaving Postlewait’s residence at 26 21st St. in McMechen.
