Free Meals Offered in Summer
Marshall County Board of Education will serve free, healthy meals to children through the Summer Food Service Program this summer.
The Summer Food Service Program, was created by Congress to provide healthy meals to children in low-income areas during the summer when they lose access to low-cost or free breakfasts or lunches provided by their schools.
Through the program, free breakfast and lunch will be provided Monday through Saturday from June 16 to June 28 and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from July 1 to July 31 at Moundsville Middle School. Breakfast is served 8- 9 a.m. and lunch is served 11:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
