Reps of W.Va. Attorney General’s Office To Be On Hand at Events
Attorney General Patrick Morrisey will have a representative from the Attorney General’s Office available to answer questions or concerns from local consumers at some upcoming fairs and festivals in the Northern Panhandle.
Amy Nickerson, a consumer outreach and compliance specialist with the Attorney General’s Office, has a booth at the Marshall County Fair in Moundsville, which runs today through Saturday at the fairgrounds.
Consumers are encouraged to stop by the booth to ask Nickerson any questions they may have or pick up the latest information from the Office.
“The Attorney General’s Office encourages everyone to stop by our booth and speak with a representative from our office to learn about the latest scams and fraud, and to also express their concerns,” Morrisey said. “Our office looks forward to engaging with consumers at these events to help answer any questions and educate them on different ways to protect their information from scammers.”
Nickerson will have a booth at the Upper Ohio Valley Italian Festival in Wheeling Friday through Sunday at Heritage Port. Consumers are encouraged to stop by the booth to not only ask questions, but also learn more about the Attorney General’s Office through the representative and materials available.
“Our office believes it is great to be out in the community and interact with the people right in their hometown,” Morrisey said.
