Marshall County Man Arrested Again on Drug Charges

A Marshall County man with prior felony drug convictions is in trouble with the law again after police allegedly found him with a large amount of marijuana.

Marc Moloski, 59, of Moundsville was undergoing a routine inspection by the probation office, when officers allegedly found a large chest in his back bedroom. Police said the chest contained multiple gallon bags and vacuum-sealed bags of a substance, believed to be marijuana, as well as smaller, individually wrapped bags of the same substance found elsewhere in the room, and items used to smoke marijuana.

In total, almost 6 pounds of marijuana was allegedly removed from Moloski’s residence.

While in an officer’s car, Moloski allegedly told the officer that he was selling the marijuana to pay bills, as he is unemployed. He allegedly also told officers he feared he would go “back to prison for the rest of his life” for this offense.

Moloski was sentenced in 2013 for possession with intent to deliver, and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to three to 15 years in prison, and subsequently had his sentence suspended after spending a year and two weeks in prison. He was placed on three years of supervised probation.

In addition to his sentence, Moloski also surrendered, among other things, property located along U.S. 250 near Limestone, formerly known as Moloski’s Bar. The property was purchased at a public auction in 2014, but remains closed.

Moloski is being held at the Northern Regional Jail on $7,500 bond while he awaits a hearing Monday.
