BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

At 5:06 p.m. Tuesday, a complainant from Hoover Avenue, Bridgeport, reported someone broke into an unoccupied residence and stole a dresser and bed frame.

At 2:11 p.m. Tuesday, a male subject stated he was walking across the parking lot outside of Pet Supplies Plus in the Ohio Valley Plaza, St. Clairsville, when an elderly lady driving a maroon 2011 Ford “clipped” him. He was standing in front of the vehicle with the woman still inside the vehicle at the time of the call, according to the report. Deputies responded, detained the male subject and spoke with witnesses. A deputy advised the male punched the lady’s mirror and exchanged words with her. The male was taken to the Belmont County Jail, according to the report.

At 5:46 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from Main Street, Glencoe, reported her tires being slashed.
