SHERIFF’S OFFICE

At 2:23 a.m. Saturday, a sergeant assisted units from the Bridgeport Police Department at Howard Street, Bridgeport, for a male subject who reportedly took off running when he saw the police.

At 12:16 a.m. Saturday, a deputy responded to Mt. Olivett Northeast Road, Barnesville, for a report of gunshots. Nothing was found, according to the report.

At 11:52 p.m. Friday, a sergeant assisted Yorkville and Tiltonsville police on a traffic stop in the 100 block of Walter Street, Yorkville.

At 9:24 p.m. Friday, units responded to National Road, Blaine, for a report of an employee who was called in to work, turned the job down because he was drunk, was told he was fired, then walked into the shop and started pushing people and tried to fight the dispatcher. Units from the Bridgeport Police Department also responded.

At 12:09 p.m. Friday, a deputy responded to Kroger at the Ohio Valley Plaza, St. Clairsville, for a report of theft of cash by an employee. Information was taken for the report, and he female employee was escorted off the property and released on her own recognizance.

At 7:33 p.m. Thursday, officers were advised of a report of a female at the Bridgeport Police station who reported she was at a party in Colerain the previous night, got drunk and passed out, and when she woke up, a male subject was on top of her having sex with her. She ran and called friends, and had testing done at the hospital. Officials took information for the report.
