At 11:05 p.m., Spruce Street, Bethlehem, mutual aid given.

At 10:27 p.m., Jenkins Lane, Valley Grove, theft earlier.

At 9:26 p.m., Oglebay Drive, Triadelphia, erratic driving.

At 8:51 p.m., W.Va. 88, road hazard.

At 8:36 p.m., Biggs Lane, West Liberty, complaint about animal.

At 7:50 p.m., Cabela Drive, welfare check.

At 5:50 p.m., Warden Run Road, Wheeling, motorist assist.

At 4:42 p.m., Interstate 470 east, hazardous condition.

At 4:36 p.m., Middle Creek Road, disorderly juvenile.

At 4:32 p.m., Bethany Pike, prevention resource officer at Woodsdale Elementary School saw a bus stopped with its red lights activated and students getting off the bus or preparing to get off the bus. An SUV ran the bus’s red lights. The officer notified the Ohio County Schools transportation director and requested video of the incident. He will consider getting a summons.

At 4:29 p.m., 16th Street, mutual aid given.

At 3:21 p.m., I-70 west, motorist assist.

At 2:47 p.m., I-70 east, motorist assist.

At 1:31 p.m., National Road to Marshall County, mutual aid for funeral escort.

At 7:54 a.m., Fairmont, mental hygiene transport. Transported for a hearing.

At 6:04 a.m., Valley Grove Road, Valley Grove, motorist assist.

At 3:40 a.m., I-70 west, Valley Grove, out with subject.

BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

At 5:23 a.m. Wednesday, a deputy responded to an animal complaint on Washington Street, Somerton, where a dog reportedly was barking all night long. This is an ongoing situation, according to the report. No barking was heard upon the deputy’s arrival.

At 11:58 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to a call regarding an Ohio State Highway Patrol unit out with a motorist on Walker Road, Barnesville, who believed her windshield was shot out.

At 10:46 p.m. Tuesday, a complainant from Pleasant Grove, Colerain, reported money and a gun stolen from his house.

At 10:27 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy initiated a traffic stop at Noble and 42nd streets, Bellaire. A K-9 unit was called to the scene and a positive indication was made on the vehicle, according to the report. Nothing was found, and the motorist was released with a warning. The motorist admitted he had just dropped a drug dealer off before he was stopped, according to the report.

At 8:38 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from Rock River Road, Jerusalem, reported someone broke into her mother’s house sometime yesterday. The house was ransacked and four guns and a chainsaw were stolen.

At 5:14 p.m. Tuesday, units responded to Comfort Inn, National Road, St. Clairsville, after a complainant who was supposed to tow a vehicle from the hotel’s lot came to the Ohio State Highway Patrol post and indicated the vehicle may have been stolen. Dispatch ran the plate and the vehicle was listed as stolen from Bridgeport. The vehicle was towed to Bridgeport and village police were notified.
