At 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, 10 Wal-Mart Drive, shoplifting. Shoplifter paid and promised not to come back; no charges filed.

At 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, 112 Ash Ave., suspicious person in unknown car. Police arrested Sillah Haruna, no age or address listed, on outstanding warrants.
BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
At 12:08 p.m. Tuesday, units responded to Bellaire Middle School, Neffs-Bellaire Road, Bellaire, for a report of a student refusing to get out of the car and go to school per a court order.
At 11:54 a.m. Tuesday, units responded to Bridgeport Schools, Industrial Drive, Bridgeport, for an unruly student who needed to be removed from the school, according to the report.
At 11:54 a.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to Belmont Harrison Career Center, Hammond Road, St. Clairsville, for a request for a patrol following an altercation that happened on the grounds. According to the report, a female was transported to the Sargus Juvenile Detention Center.
At 9:41 a.m. Tuesday, a caller from Parkview Apartments, Allen Avenue, Powhatan Point, reporter someone broke into her apartment and stole a television.
At 9:07 a.m. Tuesday, a caller from Front Street, Colerain Township, reported items stolen from a building he owns.
At 8:17 p.m. Monday, units responded to Bel Village Apartments, Patterson Hill Road, Bellaire, for a report of a domestic dispute.
At 7:48 p.m. Monday, a sergeant responded to Pike Street, Neffs, for a narcotics complaint.
At 7:43 p.m. Monday, units responded to Boscov’s at the Ohio Valley Mall, St. Clairsville, for a report of an adult female shoplifter. The female, whose name was not listed in the incident report, was taken into custody and taken to jail.
