Marshall County Man Charged In Burglary Case

Police have made an arrest in a burglary case from the Fish Creek area.

In late February, a Fish Creek resident told Moundsville police that an impact wrench had been stolen from his residence on Christmas, and that he suspected his nephew, Kevin Hubbard, 26 of Glen Easton, who at the time lived nearby. Police followed up by speaking to several individuals, including Hubbard’s ex-girlfriend, who told officers Hubbard had asked her if she knew anyone who would buy an impact wrench matching the one reported stolen.

Earlier this month, police also interviewed another person, who reportedly told police he had driven Hubbard to the residence to steal the wrench, and later arranged for Hubbard to sell the wrench to a neighbor.

Hubbard was charged with burglary and conspiracy to inflict injury to property, both felonies, and released on $3,000 bond. Charges have not been filed against anyone else in the case.
