BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

At 2:53 p.m. Monday, units responded to Country Club Road, St. Clairsville, for a report of a male and female sitting inside a vehicle parked along the roadway for an hour.

At 2:27 p.m. Monday, units responded to Hope Lane, Bridgeport, for a neighbor complaint.

At 2:20 p.m. Monday, officials received a complaint of a male subject in the Sam’s Club parking lot, Ohio Valley Plaza, St. Clairsville, reportedly trying to get people to sign a petition for an election issue.

At 11:01 a.m. Monday, a complainant from Bridgeport reported several veterans’ flags stolen off gravesites in Glenwood Cemetery in Blaine. Extra patrols of the area were requested.

At 10:24 a.m. Monday, a complainant from Mount Victory Road, Jacobsburg, reported having problems with drilling trucks driving on her property and doing damage. One of the trucks hit her mailbox, according to the report.
