At 12:35 a.m. Wednesday, units responded to an address on Hoover Avenue, Bridgeport, to serve a warrant. Roberta Visnic, 59, was taken into custody and booked in the Belmont County Jail on a charge of driving under the influence.
At 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from Wal-Mart, Valley Plaza Drive, St. Clairsville, reported a white male subject put something in his jacket and left the store.
At 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, units responded to an address on White Road, Wayne Township, for a report of a possible breaking and entering in progress. A person reportedly cut the landline and security cameras, according to the complaint. The caller reportedly had a pistol and was advised to put it away. Units advised there were no footprints, and there was “nothing active going.”
At 5:39 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a neighbor on Hall Street, Maynard, was revving his engine very loudly. The complainant was advised there was no noise ordinance there.
At 1:42 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to an address on Main Street, St. Clairsville, for a narcotics complaint.
At 10:08 a.m. Tuesday, a caller from Hertz Rental Car, National Road, St. Clairsville, reported a 2017 Hyundai Elantra that was reported as stolen on Nov. 29 was back on the lot with the keys in it.
At 11:12 a.m. Tuesday, a representative from South Central Power Company wished to file theft charges against a customer at an address on Wilcox Road, Barnesville, where the electricity had been terminated, but the power was turned back on.
