BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

At 12:24 p.m. Monday, a complainant from East Main Street, Belmont, came to the station to report receiving a death threat via email.

At 11:05 a.m. Monday, a deputy responded to an address on Mount Victory Road, York Township, for a domestic complaint.

At 4:34 a.m. Monday, deputies responded to an address on Hendrysburg-Freeport Road, Piedmont, for a report of domestic trouble.

At 3:58 a.m. Monday, a caller from Markatan Street, Flushing, stated someone was shining a flashlight in her window and trying to get into her house.

At 3:19 a.m. Monday, units responded to an address on Barton Road, St. Clairsville, for a complaint of a vehicle in the driveway and someone knocking on the door in the middle of the night. The vehicle left, and units stopped it as the vehicle was headed toward St. Clairsville. One male subject was taken into custody on an active warrant, according to the report. Michael Lee Conaway, 43, was booked in the Belmont County Jail on charges of resisting arrest and felony possession of a controlled substance. He was being held on $10,750 bond.

At 12:12 p.m. Sunday, a deputy responded to Second Chance Church, Crescent Road, St. Clairsville, for a report of the church and a shed being vandalized by being egged.

At 10:47 a.m. Sunday, a manager at Lowe’s, Valley Plaza Drive, St. Clairsville, reported a theft caught on video.
