At 7:50 p.m., Florida Street, gunshot.

At 3:50 a.m. Friday, several units responded to Walmart in St. Clairsville for a report of a shoplifter in custody. A sergeant requested additional assistance from Ohio State Highway Patrol and St. Clairsville Police Department. Dispatchers said customers in the store called about a man fighting a deputy. The subject was taken into custody and taken to jail.

At 1:17 a.m. Friday, units responded to Glenwood Village Apartments, Belmont Road, Bethesda, for a report from dispatch of several 911 hang-up calls from a cell phone pinged to the area of the apartment complex. A male and female could be heard screaming during one of the calls. A male called stating he and his girlfriend were fighting, she then locked him out and he was calling from his vehicle. When officers arrived, they learned of a temporary protection order between parties involved. One male was detained and taken to jail.

At 8:50 p.m. Thursday, a complainant from Key-Bellaire Road, Bellaire, reported a telephone scam.. The caller said someone from a Florida area code claimed to be someone from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

At 4 p.m. Thursday, units responded to an address on Cool Hill Road, Centerville, for a domestic complaint.

At 3:42 p.m. Thursday, units responded to Riesbeck’s Food Market, National Road, Bridgeport, for a report of a female shoplifter in custody.

At 12:12 p.m. Thursday, units responded to High Ridge Road, Bridgeport, for a report of a person with a gun. One male subject was taken into custody.

At 1:08 p.m. Thursday, a caller from the Piercing Pagoda at the Ohio Valley Mall, St. Clairsville, said a former employee took $304.

At 1:23 a.m. Thursday, several units responded to an address on Patterson Run Road, Bridgeport, for a report of a female subject on the front porch bleeding, and the caller did not know what had happened. Units from the Bridgeport Police Department also responded. Upon arrival, officers said the female was bleeding badly and being uncooperative. Units searched for a male subject who reportedly left the scene in a silver Pontiac, according to Bridgeport Police. Martins Ferry Police located the male in question and detained him. Officers said the male subject reportedly “took off becase he thought the female was dead,” according to the report. Statements were taken. Christopher Robert Hadzima, 31, was charged with a misdemeanor count of domestic violance and was transported to the Belmont County Jail. The female subject was taken to East Ohio Regional Hospital by an emergency squad from Brookside.

At 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, a complainant from Walmart in St. Clairsville reported a subject stole a computer and left in a white Dodge Caravan. Bridgeport Police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol also responded. A vehicle was stopped on Interstate 470 near mile marker 4 eastbound. No computer was found.
