Bekah Karelis of Wheeling Heritage, in yellow, explains the history of the Wheeling Suspension Bridge to students in Christina Fisanik’s digital storytelling class on Thursday. This is the second time the California University of Pennsylvania professor, who lives in Wheeling, has brought her class to the Friendly City, where they receive a group tour of historic landmarks on the first day and on the second day split off in teams to research specific topics they have chosen, such as The Linsly School, West Virginia Independence Hall and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston.
