At 12:14 a.m. Wednesday, units responded to Lansing Gardens Apartments, Commercial Drive, Bridgeport, for a domestic complaint. According to the report, it was a physical domestic situation between two female subjects. One female, Liana Michelle Visnic, 25, was booked into the Belmont County Jail on misdemeanor charges of failure to appear and domestic violence.

At 10:58 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to Lafferty Road, Wheeling Township, where a male subject was taken to Belmont Community Hospital by emergency squad.

At 10:01 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to the Sunset Motel, National Road, Union Township, for a welfare check.

At 9:27 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to New Athens to meet with Cadiz Police and transport a female subject to the Belmont County Jail on a warrant, according to the report. Alicia M. Evans was booked on a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear, with no bond set pending a court appearance.

At 9:07 p.m. Tuesday, a complainant from Pfeffer Road, Barnesville, reported an ex-girlfriend took his vehicle without permission.

At 5:36 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to Dollar General, National Road, St. Clairsville, for a report of a shoplifter. Someone reportedly took two bags of ice and left in a red Pontiac heading east on U.S. 40.

At 3:25 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to Dilles Bottom, Powhatan Point, to assist in the recovery of a pop-up campber that had been reported stolen from Moundsville. The owner of the camper was called to the scene to tow the vehicle away. Items inside not belonging to the owner were removed to be inventoried by the authorities.

At 2:39 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported finding a syringe on the ground near the garbage bins behind Denny’s Restaurant, Red Roof Lane, St. Clairsville.

At 1:12 p.m. Tuesday, a complainant from Ayers Road, St. Clairsville, reported money was taken from his debit card through a withdrawal in Plantation, Fla.

At 12:34 p.m. Tuesday, Bridgeport Police advised they received a call from a male subject reporting three gunshots were heard in the area of Beeson Road. The area was checked, and it was confirmed that a resident in the area was target shooting and everything was fine.
