Wheeling Park Students Hope Anti-Alcohol Message Sticks

Wheeling Park High School Students Against Destructive Decisions members Ana Musap, left, and Amanda Schmitt help place stickers on alcoholic beverages at Gumby’s on Wheeling Island Friday reminding the public it’s illegal to provide alcohol to those under age 21. The SADD members are

showing their support for Alcohol Awareness Month by conducting the Sticker Shock event. With prom

approaching, the students want to send a reminder to the community to keep

students safe. SADD

members and Wheeling Police talked to clerks about the importance of checking the identification and age of those buying alcohol.
