SHERIFF’S OFFICE

At 6:11 p.m. Sunday, units responded to Subway, National Road, Bridgeport, for a report of a suspicious male in a vehicle who would not awaken. After deputies arrived, the male was awake and outside of the vehicle, passed a field sobriety test and was picked up by his mother, according to the report.

At 4:13 p.m. Sunday, an employee of Ulta, Mall Ring Road, St. Clairsville, called to report a theft from the previous night.

At 3:19 p.m. Sunday, deputies received a call from the Ohio State Highway Patrol regarding a report of people trying to catch a loose dog near the Kroger Fuel Plaza in St. Clairsville. The caller was afraid the dog or the people chasing it were going to get hit in traffic.

At 12:20 p.m. Sunday, a caller from National Road, Bridgeport, reported someone entered and stole a gun and wine sometime after 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

At 9:23 a.m. Sunday, a caller from Virginia Street, Bethesda, reported a male followed a female to work.
