BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

At 5:04 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy responded to the St. Clairsville Police Department to speak with people about an alleged assault on Jug Run, Richland Township.

At 5:13 p.m. Wednesday, units responded to Relevant Worship Church, National Road, St. Clairsville, for a report of a suspicious person. A male and female were both taken into custody, according to the report. Thomas Michael Lashare, 29, was booked in the Belmont County Jail on one count of failure to appear.

At 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, units responded to Belco Works, Hammond Road, St. Clairsville, for a report of a female who was terminated and allegedly assaulted another employee. A squad was requested, and a sergeant on the advised the female was resisting. A deputy reported the female tried to bite the sergeant. Dorothy Kidd, 54, was arrested and booked into the Belmont County Jail on misdemeanor charges of assault, aggravated assault and resisting arrest.

At 2:26 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Cherry Lane, Bellaire, reported fictitious plates were on the vehicle.

At 1:54 a.m. Wednesday, units responded to an address on Mount Victory Road, Powhatan Point, for a domestic complaint. Corey Daniel Dowdy, 28, was arrested and booked into the Belmont County Jail on one misdemeanor count of domestic violence.

At 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, a K-9 was out on a traffic stop on Washington Street, Bellaire.

At 9:25 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported money taken from an unlocked vehicle at a residence on Wegee Road, Shadyside.

At 9:07 p.m. Tuesday, units responded to a residence on Glencoe Road, Glencoe, for a report of domestic trouble.

At 8:47 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from Buena Vista Drive, Colerain, reported vandalism. Stone pillars and lights in the driveway were found to be damaged, the report stated.

At 8:06 p.m. Tuesday, units responded to U.S. Nails, Valley Plaza Drive, St. Clairsville, for a report of an assault.
