BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
At 4:41 a.m. Tuesday, units responded to Pilot Travel Center, Belmont-Morristown Road, Morristown, for a report of an unresponsive male in a running vehicle. A small amount of marijuana was confiscated, and a relative was contacted to come get the male, according to the report.
At 1:02 a.m. Tuesday, a sergeant responded to an address on Hammond Road, St. Clairsville, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.
At 10:10 p.m. Monday, a caller from Pike Creek, Jacobsburg, reported telephone harassment, noting more than 70 calls from one caller were placed to his phone in one day.
At 7:50 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to Center Street, Bannock, for a domestic complaint.
At 5:48 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to Enterprise, National Road, St. Clairsville, for a report of a gun found in a rental vehicle that was returned.
At 1:55 p.m. Monday, a representative of Riesbeck’s, National Road, Bridgeport, reported a male tried to leave with a buggy full of merchandise. The store got all the merchandise back. A deputy responded and attempted to make contact with a suspect on Howard Street.
