BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

At 3:55 p.m. Wednesday, units responded to a complaint at Paterson Hill Road, Bellaire, where there reportedly was threat of a fight between two females. Officers arrived, and both parties were told to “knock it off,” according to the report.

At 9:34 a.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to an address on Bannock Road, St. Clairsville, for a complaint of a male who reportedly was refusing to leave.

At 7:19 a.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to an address on Belmont-Centerville Road, Centerville, where a complainant stated a female came to his residence, woke him up when giving him cigarettes and took a gun and his cellphone.

At 10:47 p.m. Tuesday, units responded to Belmont-Centerville Road, Centerville, for a domestic complaint involving a highly intoxicated male and a female who reportedly was in possession of a gun.

At 2:33 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to Boscov’s at the Ohio Valley Mall, St. Clairsville, for a report of two shoplifters in custody.

At 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, a female from Pineview Drive, Belmont, came to the station to request a welfare check on an elderly male on Farr Road, Bridgeport, who had not been seen in two weeks.

At 12:35 a.m. Tuesday, a deputy was out at Belmont Street, Bellaire, assisting a unit from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
