Murder for Hire Plot Is Revealed
BRIDGEPORT – A Bridgeport woman, upset over a friend dating her ex-husband, has been arrested for allegedly trying to have the girlfriend killed.
Tina Jaworski, 44, of 68995 Clearview Acres, is being held in the Belmont County Jail without bond on a charge of conspiracy to commit aggravated murder.
Bridgeport Police officers arrested her on Sunday.
Investigators said Jaworski tried to hire a man to kill her ex-husband’s girlfriend.
Jaworski met her ex-husband’s former co-worker, Matthew Farmer, at a Bob Evans restaurant parking lot in Bridgeport and allegedly offered him money to kill Shari Shorts, who is the girlfriend of Mike Jaworski.
Mike Jaworski, Farmer and Shorts all worked together at Harch Environmental Resources. Tina Jaworski is employed by Dollar General.
Police said Tina Jaworski had her passport on her when she was arrested.
Martins Ferry Police assisted Bridgeport Police in the arrest.
