WHEELING — Gov. Jim Justice’s stops around the state Monday did nothing to stop teachers and school service personnel from continuing a strike over wages, benefits and other matters. In response to the continued action, local school districts have cancelled classes for Tuesday.

Ohio County Superintendent Kim Miller announced this evening that classes would be called off, following a 6 p.m. Ohio County Board of Education meeting.

Marshall County Schools had closed earlier today, as did Brooke and Wetzel.
