Teachers pack W.Va. Capitol as Strike Enters Day 5

CHARLESTON — Thousands of teachers again today packed the state Capitol calling for a fix to the Public Employees Insurance Agency and for the state Senate to pass a 5 percent pay raise for teachers, service personnel and state troopers.

The Senate is set to convene at 11 a.m. and will likely take up the pay raise bill passed through the House Wednesday evening.
